Man gets shot twice for refusing to give up cellphone

I have the same model of cellphone as the victim. It's a Nokia 3390. It's one of the older models with a black and white screen. If confronted with a gun, I think I'd give it up in a heartbeat. I'd much rather lose a $20 piece of plastic and circuitry than get shot. I'll also go through the trouble of finding the numbers to input too.

I have the same model, but you know that already. Ha! =)! If I was in the same situation, I would've handed my phone over to the thug as well. Given the circumstances, I would think that my life was more valuable than a mere cell phone. It is easy to just walk away after you hand it over to him and then immediately cancel your number. Besides, I would much rather switch to one of the new models that come out every time. I wouldn't want to risk getting shot over something as little as that. =)

clearly, you need a better phone. you wouldn't want to give up the phone and get shot when the mugger gets mad at the low quality. if you're gonna get shot over it, it should at least be encrusted with diamonds.

The phone is actually fine, considering how little I use it, and woe to the mugger that he doesn't know the worth of cell phones. Incidentally, I have heard that pawn shoppes will no longer buy cellphones, as they know most of them are stolen.

If I was to get a new cellphone, I'd get the Nokia 6820, which is the cameraphone version of the phone that someone I know accidentally put through the washing machine. ;)

hey, that phone has made a full recovery, minus a couple of weeks in the infirmary :)

i'm glad to hear there's a camera phone version now. means it'll be easier to figure out what phone to get next.
