I am sick. I've been sick for the last couple of days, so sick in fact that I haven't even felt like blogging. Last night before I went to bed, I made the mistake of having a cup of tea. I don't usually think that caffeine has any effect on me, but last night, it was quite apparent that caffeine does a pretty good job of keeping me up. I ended the night with about 2 hours of sleep. Despite that, I still feel well rested.
Before I got sick, honeyfields and I went to Sushi Maru, where we had some of the best Uni ever. We ordered a record 5 plates of Uni between the two of us, and in addition to everything else we ordered, wound up with a record bill of $63 dollars before tip. Even our regular waiter commented on our bill, by saying "You guys don't usually have this much food, do you?" and then further added that he recalculated the bill several times to make sure.
Given my appetite for sushi that day, I should have known a cold was coming on -- I find that I tend to eat a lot more before and during a cold.
