Going Pro

I've decided to quit my job to fulfill my dream of exploiting the internet full-time. First, I've decided that I'm going to become a professional blogger. I figure if Jason Kottke can make a living doing it, I should be able to do the same. A Paypal account is in the works for micropayment donations so that I can continue to have a roof over my head and boxes of instant ramen to live off of. I'm a bit worried about the US treatment of professional bloggers going through customs, but it's not like I'm not already flagged as a "troublemaker" for my many anti-Bush statements.

Second, I've decided that when I'm not blogging, to further supplement the ramen fund, I will be Managing a World of Warcraft Gold Farming Business. I've already worked out some of the details of outsourcing the actual playing of the game to kids in India. It's insane how many kids you can buy for a dollar, who can then play this game like a pro.

In addition, I also have managed to acquire a couple of Google Gulp caps (amazing what you can find digging through the trash at Google's campus). They'll be on eBay shortly, but if you can't wait, leave me a comment and I'll see about getting you a couple of caps.

Dude, you gotta have giveaway prizes if you're gonna go pro. People aren't going to donate unless there's that small % chance that they'll get a free MovableType license.

You're being sarcastic, right? =/
