Canon and Lexar bugs cause lost pics on DSLRs

Since I have a 80x Pro Lexar CompactFlash Card and a 20D I guess I'll have to be careful, although since they don't elaborate, there's little I can do.

I'm pretty sure I'm seeing this in my Lexar Pro compact flash. It makes me appreciate my Microdrive.

On my last two cardfulls my Lexar has had problems on 4 pictures (two per use).

Can you describe the problem of the photos you took with your Lexar?

Yeah, they would hang the filesystem driver on my Mac. My XP machine was able to not hang but said the files were "busy" and they had a zero size.

On the last set, if I ran the XP filesystem repair tool on them I could eventually read the file however, one of the raw images came out corrupt. Interestingly, CR2 must have built in thumbnailing because the thumbs were fine but the actual image was corrupt. Right now I'm supper busy with the wedding and haven't post processed the images but I will.

The first time I basically gave up on the images...

This is a message from Lexar that covers this problem.
